Chefs Don't Exist and I can Prove It!

I know what you're thinking, either you yourself are a professing chef or knows somebody who goes by that title. Therefore, my statement is completely foolish right? Well, think what you want, but I'm going to stand by my convictions regardless! After all, I have an ironclad, unbreakable, super terrific argument that proves my point.

For those of you who aren't practicing the culinary trade, I ask you this: Have you ever seen an actual chef? If so, are you sure it wasn't just a person acting like a chef? I know, I know, they work long, hard hours and holidays and therefore have zero time to see or be seen by anyone, but isn't that what the restaurant industry wants you to believe? I mean, all restaurants care about is getting your money right? They'll do whatever it takes to get you to believe what they want you to believe.

For those of you who are under the impression that you are in fact a chef, I ask you this: If chefs actually exist, why are there starving people in the world? Why are there still people who don't know how to cook? How can there still be fast food or junk food in existence of chefs actually exist?

Before I run the risk of irritating all of my culinary friends, let me make the point of this article clear: The arguments presented to "prove" chefs don't exist are the same exact arguments that non-believers use to "prove" God doesn't exist. So to all of my cooking friends out there, we're still cool right?

People wish to believe God doesn't exist simply because of who they see representing Him. For instance, somebody cuts you off on the highway and you see their "Jesus is my co-pilot" bumper sticker as you lay on your horn. Now you think Jesus commanded that person to cut you off in traffic. Did He? Of course not! But the world doesn't understand.

People want to think that religion is simply a way to control the masses, but consider this: The people who gave you that idea probably sells books teaching that. Have you ever thought they just want to sell their ideas and use them to control you? It's just a thought, but don't let it control you.

As far as the existence of evil goes, you can't say God doesn't exist because of the presence of evil. God must exist because of the presence of evil, for without the existence of good we wouldn't be capable of knowing what evil is. God is the light that shines the light of goodness in this world that shows us what's bad.

"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

John 3:19-21

The most important point to make regarding the existence of suffering is found here:

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

In the same way that chefs can't feed hungry people if they refuse to come to them, Jesus has told us to come to Him. If people don't know to come to Him, then we as Christians need to bring them to Jesus! Alright, problem solved then, let's get going!
